Engineer Technician

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports to Quality Assurance and Control Manager

Position Overview:
To insure installation of units as well as training customers and field technicians. You will focus mainly on improving product quality as well as upgrading specifications of products.

Job Description
•    Be required to travel within and outside the US
•    Must have basic technical and electrical knowledge
•    Supervise field technicians from day to day basis
•    Being able to or having a sense of retrofitting units for upgrade or refurbishment
•    Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
•    Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
•    Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
•    Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
•    Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
•    Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
•    Prepare accurate and timely reports
•    Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles

•    Bachelor’s degree in any type of Engineering is required
•    Proficient knowledge of technical and electrical fields is preferred but not required
•    1-3 years of engineering is preferred but not required
