I received this unit July 6, 2011 and installed the window kit as directed.
Had to cut the plastic insert as it was just a bit too long to go into my window.
I am not too happy with the flex hose, it seems a bit flimsy but it does work OK.
Went through the first Toronto heat wave of the year and the unit cooled the room fine.
I’ve got it cooling about 400 sq. feet so it’s working at it’s maximum. As far as the noise,
It’s no worse than a window unit. The fan has two speeds but they both seem the same to me.
High speed and Low speed don’t seem to be any different.
Unit is not bad looking and so far I’m pleased with my purchase. I would recommend it to a friend
As a matter of fact, my son saw and liked it and bought one for his apartment.

Easy set up and Great cooling power Review by braveheartbob@verizon.net

I bought this unit for two reasons one for easy set up and still have alot of window to look out of, 2 to keep bugs from getting in our house, we have had a recent out break of stink bugs in our area and this will take care of that problem. Really nice unit well built. (Posted on 5/3/11)
